Dear Fabulous Friends (yes that means you!!)

The Benefit Party to raise Kevin’s entry fee into the Colorado 500 was a roaring success thanks to you. We raised all the money needed! Hurray!! It was just amazing how many wonderful people in our community came together to support us with donations of time, money, music, and huge helpings of support. We couldn’t have done this without your help. Thank you all so very much.

 When the Day of the Benefit Party arrived, the raffle table was stacked so high with items donated by our store suppliers, everyone went home with something. It was just amazing. Then the band played. Reckless preformed and they were Rockin. And all the while the feast seamed to be endless.

 So what’s next? There will always be another party, be sure of that. But for Kevin, it’s on to the Colorado 500!!

The application and entry fee of $1000 is ready to go but we have to wait to find out if Kevin will be selected as a rookie rider for this year’s event. If he is not, be assured that funds raised by our charity event will still go to the Colorado 500 to be distributed to Colorado non-profit agencies and schools.

 Many riders want to be in the Colorado 500, but only a small group are selected. We hope that Kevin’s long history with the RMTA, Rocky Mountain Trials Association, and his off road expertise will secure his entry. Kevin is dedicated to helping riders learn to use trails responsibly and to keeping Colorado trails open to motorized vehicles. He loves the Colorado Rocky Mountains and looks forward to riding in this wonderful event.
