In 1688 Jacques de
Savoye founded Vrede en Lust, Dutch for “Peace and
Eagerness”. He planted the first vineyards in 1691. This
unwooded chenin blanc/semillon blend shows intricate
notes of mellon, tropical fruits and ripe pear on the
nose. The bright fruit characters follow through on the
palate with a silky smooth mouth feel.
